In 2012, we were approached by the Sustainable Living Festival in Australia to support their upcoming event in February 2013, and we gladly accepted! Our involvement was to supply the participants with our colorful refillable markers for a specific visualization project within this event.

The clever idea was to let our markers loose in the fun creative hands of regular Melbourne citizens, so that they could draw their personal vision on the Sustainable Living Knowledge Wall. Everyone’s unique point-of-view was captured in brilliant colors for all to see!

“On stage” around the wall were Graphic Facilitator Wyn Wilson (Los Angeles), Graphic Recorder Jessamy Gee (Melbourne), Designer and Owner of EcoLogical Art Kerri Ainsworth (Sydney), and Video Filmer Dan Ryan (Melbourne). Dan also uploaded the following YouTube video featuring our Neuland markers in the middle of the action.

Together with the visitors they brainstormed together for ideas on a more sustainable life and created the Living Knowledge Wall – all made from sustainable materials (biodegradable foam board) and refillable markers.

A wonderful idea that imaginative people from all age groups participated in to draw their sustainable visions.

Congratulations to the team for this wonderful collaborative idea! Maybe an event like this will catch on and we’ll see this pop up somewhere else in the world!
We’re looking forward to more inspiring events from down under!
